Job summary

Asplundh in the United States is seeking a Foreperson to ensure daily crew productivity, coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols. You will troubleshoot field issues, train and mentor crew members, and enforce OSHA-aligned practices on site.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to travel for storm work. A valid CDL and safe driving record are essential as you manage equipment and report on job progress.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Able to adapt to field requirements with independent action.
• Must have a valid CDL and safe driving ability.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.
• Must meet safety and PPE requirements on site.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work from supervisor orders.
• Conducts field training for crew on new or revised units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and work scope with owners.
• Obtains oral/written permissions from property owners for work.
• Promotes good customer relations through proper crew behavior.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of people and equipment.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed and incidents as needed.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspection compliance for vehicles.
