Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Foreperson in Florida to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate tasks, and enforce safety protocols. You will mentor employees, resolve field issues, and ensure efficient work delivery with attention to customer relations.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus the ability to work independently in a field environment with regular training and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational ability with multitasking capacity.
• Able to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Able to drive an approved company vehicle safely.
• Capable of working with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not to exceed 300 pounds and no fear of heights.
• DOT maintenance and inspection awareness may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Discusses access and work with property owners/customers.
• Obtains permission to perform required work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes resources.
• Furnishes incident and equipment reports; supports safety.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments as needed.
