Job summary

EY is seeking a professional to work with government and public sector clients on managing and ensuring compliance of disaster recovery funding (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR). You will organize large datasets, support grant projects, and interact with local governments, with travel and in-office presence required.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years in compliance or audit, plus strong communication and Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, law, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 1+ years of related compliance, audit, or financial management experience, ideally with a government agency or professional services firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support engagement teams in managing and ensuring compliance of disaster recovery funding (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR).
• Interact with local governments to support project development and grant projects.
• Organize and analyze large volumes of information and perform transaction testing.
• Travel and presence at client sites as required.
