Job summary

EY’s Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services team is seeking leaders to manage disaster recovery funding programs and compliance for government and public sector clients. You will work on FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, and ARPA projects, guiding teams and developing client relationships across jurisdictions.

You’ll travel to client sites, oversee large-scale projects, and collaborate with EY colleagues on business development initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 5+ years related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience, ideally with a government agency or professional services firm.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.

Responsibilities

• Manage government and public sector engagements focusing on disaster recovery funding compliance and grant programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA).
• Lead client relationships and interactions with local governments to support project development and monitoring of federally funded projects.
• Coordinate with EY professionals across solutions on business development initiatives.
• Travel and client-site presence required; in-office presence as needed.
