Oscar is hiring an Operational Forecasting Associate to join our Workforce Management team in New York City. The role focuses on forecasting and planning analyses to optimize resourcing and financial planning for production teams.

You'll report to the Associate Director, Workforce Management, and work in a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office weekly. Base pay ranges from $101,844 to $133,670 per year plus benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated work in operations forecasting.
• 2+ years working with large datasets and distilling analyses into insights.
• 2+ years experience in SQL; or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas.
• Strong communication skills for business reporting impact.
• 1+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel, using VLookup and nested IF.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for demand and resourcing.
• Support leadership in generating budget estimates based on forecasts.
• Collaborate with data teams to source data and refine analyses.
• Learn the business and support planning discussions with stakeholders.
• Tell data stories to non-technical colleagues with clear visuals.
