Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Operations Forecasting Associate to join our Workforce Management team in Tempe, AZ. This role will build and maintain forecasts to optimize resourcing and financial planning for production teams.

You will collaborate with stakeholder teams, source data, and deliver clear, data-driven insights. The role requires SQL, Python or R, and strong communication to translate analytics for leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations forecasting experience.
• 2+ years handling large datasets and distilling analyses into actionable insights.
• 2+ years SQL or proficiency in Python/R for data analysis.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, around business reporting impact.
• 1+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel (VLOOKUP, nested IFs).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for volumetric demand and resourcing.
• Align forecast models with business objectives with stakeholder teams.
• Source data and refine analyses with data teams.
• Tell data-driven stories that non-technical colleagues can understand.
• Own insights generation for a major business unit and liaise with senior leaders.
• Collaborate across the organization and manage stakeholder relationships to drive improvements.
