Job summary

DSW is seeking a Market Leader to elevate the in-store experience and lead a high-energy retail team. You will model customer excellence, coach associates, and drive KPI performance through strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities include developing store strategies, managing labor, inventory, and operations, and ensuring policy adherence while delivering a consistent, positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven ability to recruit, onboard, coach, develop, motivate and drive results through others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead with tempo and hold team accountable to meet time-bound expectations.

Responsibilities

• Elevate in-store experience by modeling, supervising and coaching associates and leaders to achieve store goals and KPIs.
• Develop and communicate store strategies aligned to company goals; foster innovation and solution-oriented ideas.
• Deliver financial plans to drive KPI performance on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and adjust to shifts in business.
• Foster recognition and accountability to meet customer and business needs.
• Resolve customer and associate feedback with urgency.
• Plan and direct movement of merchandise responding to trends and inventory needs.
• Oversee sales floor standards, maintenance and operations and implement talent strategies.
• Lead omni-channel activities in-store (e.g., Buy Online Pick Up In Store).
