Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking SR Sales Associates to provide excellent service to customers, help meet store goals, and follow store policies. You will perform refunds, exchanges, S2H processing, and Customer Pickup orders as part of POS/back-office duties.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, assist in shipping/receiving, stay informed on promotions, and uphold loss-prevention practices while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic communication, organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear.
• Knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards.
• Promote promotions and rewards programs and other business initiatives.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged and merchandised.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Maintain awareness of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
• Participate in inventories, assist in shipping/receiving merchandise, and merchandize on the sales floor.
• Process sales and POS transactions; ensure mates of shoes.
• Handle refunds/exchanges and Customer Pickup orders.
