Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Sales Associate to uphold our service standards and meet sales and work goals set by store management. You will lead by example in accuracy and completeness of every task while presenting the store, its merchandise, and yourself to customers in the best possible light.

In this role you will handle cash, process transactions through the POS, maintain stock presentation, assist with inventories, and promote the rewards program.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and staff.
• Basic verbal and non-verbal communication, organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear or specialty retail.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers following service standards.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and store cleanliness.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Assist in inventory, shipping, and receiving when needed.
• Process sales through POS and ensure mates of shoes are checked.
