Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a SR Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and meet store goals in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle refunds/exchanges, process orders, and assist with back-office tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, product knowledge, and teamwork with store teams across management and associates. Previous retail experience is preferred; candidates should be reliable and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal, communication, organization and math skills required.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear.
• Basic knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers following service standards.
• Maintain awareness of promotions and events.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and stock organization.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Assist in inventories, shipping/receiving, and floor merchandising when needed.
• Process sales and POS transactions in accordance with policy and ensure shoes are matched.
