Job summary

Rack Room Shoes, Inc. seeks a Store Team Member to provide outstanding customer service, meet sales and work goals, and help lead the store by setting an example in accuracy and completeness of work.

You will handle cash and POS transactions per policy, contributing to a smooth, customer‑friendly shopping experience. You will support team members, maintain presentation standards, and participate in store maintenance, inventories, and merchandising activities to ensure a polished and welcoming

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear.
• Basic knowledge of the policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and an understanding of the Store Presentation Standards.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to serve customers and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for our customers through service standards and a positive attitude.
• Maintain awareness of current sales promotions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and store cleanliness.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Participate in physical inventories and assist with shipping/receiving.
• Process all sales and POS transactions in accordance with policy.
