Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and manage established and new customers by selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.

This role will own customer relationships, engage in value-added activities, and leverage internal resources to drive top penetration opportunities and new accounts. Responsibilities include managing deliveries per routing schedules, collecting balances per credit terms, and developing new business through market

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster the customer relationship in a team based selling model.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedule; troubleshoot order issues.
• Develop new business and identify prospects from leads, directories, and trade shows.
• Collaborate with internal teams (credit, merchandising, marketing) to grow accounts.
• Occasionally travel to meet customers and ensure product delivery.
