Job summary

US Foods, based in the United States, seeks a Territory Manager to develop and manage established and new customers by selling food and non-food items. You will own customer relationships, drive value-added activities, and coordinate with teams to maximize profits while traveling to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience; foodservice preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driving record in good standing.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
• Manage deliveries and routing schedule; troubleshoot order issues.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as needed per credit terms.
• Leverage other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts.
• Develop new business by utilizing market intelligence databases, business directories, leads, trade shows and associations.
• Know market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products; share insights with customers as part of value-added services.
• Drive to existing customers and prospects to ensure product delivery, lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs.
