Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to build and manage customer relationships within a defined sales territory. You will educate customers on ordering platforms, deliver product recommendations, and tailor pricing strategies to help shops succeed.

You will drive sales through presentations, account growth, and new business while coordinating with marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure timely product delivery. A driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Foodservice industry experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-savviness with MS Office and CRM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team-based selling model.
• Drive sales by selling to customers, growing cases, and acquiring new business.
• Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service for efficient delivery.
• Develop new business through market intelligence and leads from clients.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedules and troubleshoot order issues.
• Stay informed about market conditions, products, prices and competitors.
• Travel to visit customers and conduct regular site visits and follow-ups.
