Qualifications

• 1+ year sales experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license required; MVR in good standing.
• Selling experience to restaurants preferred; foodservice industry experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Competitive spirit with drive to exceed goals.
• Problem solving ability / organization and negotiation skills.
• Team mindset to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Tech-savviness – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own and nurture customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
• Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations and pricing strategies.
• Drive sales through presentations and tailored approaches; manage time and territory.
• Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service.
• Identify prospective customers using market data, leads, and trade events.
• Manage deliveries per routing schedule and troubleshoot order issues.
• Keep informed about market conditions, products, prices and competitors.
• Conduct regular site visits and check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction.
