Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with order entries and inquiries, ensuring satisfaction as their distributor. The CSR will handle order input, credits, invoicing details, and problem resolution with vendors and co-workers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include recommending alternative products, updating orders, and participating in training sessions to maintain service quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required
• 6 Months - 1 Year Customer service, call center and / or related area Required
• 1 - 3 Years Customer service, call center and / or related area within foodservice industry Preferred

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems. Contact vendors and requests samples for customers.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Assists customers in finding alternative or new products when original request is unavailable
• Verify orders and customer quantities by running reports.
