Performance Food Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Louisiana to assist customers with order entries and inquiries, ensuring satisfaction as their distributor. The role involves fast, accurate communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include processing orders, credits, invoicing, and supporting customers through the online portal, with attendance at training and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required.
• 1–3 years in customer service or call center in foodservice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; contact vendors and request samples.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes, emails, and EDI daily; write sample requests and special orders as needed.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Assist customers in finding alternative or new products when original request is unavailable.
• Walk customers through our online order portal after pre-orders and special orders.
• Verify orders and customer quantities by running reports; log customer interactions and transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with all policies and standards.
