Performance Food Group’s manufacturing arm is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Illinois to support order entry and inquiries. You will help keep customers satisfied as their distributor, handling orders, credits, and communications with vendors and coworkers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, multitasking, and professional interaction, with training and team meetings, and opportunities for growth within the foodservice distribution network.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of customer service or call center experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders and credits accurately.
• Process order and invoicing information promptly.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; liaise with vendors.
• Provide professional assistance to public, customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Perform daily administrative tasks (faxes, mail, sample requests).
• Attend training sessions and Customer Service meetings.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and proactive communication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
