Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist and process customer orders and inquiries, ensuring satisfaction as their distributor. You will input orders, credits, and invoicing information while maintaining timely, accurate communication with customers and vendors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 6–12 months of customer service experience, preferably in foodservice, with opportunities for training and advancement within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months
• Customer service, call center and / or related area.
• Preferred Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Preferred Experience: 1 - 2 Years
• Customer service, call center and / or related area within foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems. Contact vendors and requests samples for customers.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilties such as checking faxes and mail on a daily basis, writing sample requests and special orders when necessary.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
