Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a customer service professional for an onsite role in Rice, Minnesota. Responsibilities include entering customer orders and credits, handling invoicing data, and assisting customers with orders and issues, collaborating with vendors and coworkers to ensure satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 6–12 months in customer service, with 1–2 years in foodservice customer service preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 - 12 months customer service, call center and / or related area.
• 1 - 2 years customer service, call center and / or related area within foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems. Contact vendors and requests samples for customers.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes and mail on a daily basis, sample requests and special orders when necessary.
• Will Call orders
• Intercompany order processing

• FedEx processing
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
