Global Partners is looking for a Food Service Supervisor / Deli Lead. Our Fresh Food Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department, including personnel, to achieve merchandising, sales, and guest service goals.

Responsibilities:

• Direct department personnel to meet goals, communicate with management and supervisors
• Select, onboard, and coach new team members
• Schedule team members
• Provide product information, suggest sales, and sample products, always thanking guests
• Take guest orders, ensure timely and satisfactory completion
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Order products and supplies, maintain stock and merchandising standards
• Oversee preparation and serving of deli/food service items, including entrees, fried foods, pizzas, salads, soups, sandwiches, and beverages
• Display items following merchandising guidelines
• Follow recipes accurately
• Rotate products for quality and safety, control shrinkage
• Receive and audit merchandise, organize storage areas
• Conduct periodic inventory counts
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely
• Handle cash register transactions, including giving change and refunds
• Use scales and printers correctly
• Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of counters, prep areas, and storage
• Ensure safety equipment and procedures are used
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Serv-safe certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, work in coolers/freezers, stand for long periods, and use necessary equipment
