A leading company is seeking a Food Service Supervisor responsible for overseeing dining service staff, ensuring compliance with health standards, and managing food operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and strong supervisory skills. This role requires effective communication with staff and the public, along with the ability to prepare reports and manage food inventory.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: To be responsible for the supervision of an assigned food service staff in dining areas or cafeterias providing table, counter, booth or cafeteria line service; and to do related work as required.
Works under the general supervision of a superior from whom general and specific instructions are received; work is reviewed for conformance to such instructions and for results obtained.
Trains, supervises, instructs and reviews the work of subordinates engaged in performing work in a food service program.
Knowledge of food service methods and practices, health hazards, and safety precautions; ability to supervise and instruct staff; inspect food preparation and service areas; prepare reports; communicate courteously with the public; and related capacities.
Completion of twelve school grades and experience in a food service program, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physically qualified at the time of appointment; proof of immunity against MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, TST, and N-95 FIT test required before employment.
