A leading healthcare organization seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee meal preparation and service. This role involves managing food acquisition, supervising staff, and ensuring quality control in food service operations. Supervises and coordinates food service personnel involved in meal preparation and service. Manages food acquisition and supervises related staff activities.
Does this position require Patient Care? No
Education: Associate's Degree in Nutrition required. Experience may substitute for degree.
Licenses and Credentials: ServSafe Food Handler Certification; ServeSafe preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years in food service, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Frequent standing, walking, balancing; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching; constant handling and feeling; rare foot use. Visual, auditory, and communication abilities are essential.
Location: 55 Fruit Street; Onsite; Rotating shifts; Per diem employment.
