Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications.
• ServeSafe certified or able to complete course and pass test as administered by Break Time ServeSafe proctor.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Physical ability to move and position products in the cooler and freezer.
• Ability to stand for up to nine hours per shift.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with fast, friendly service and handle complaints promptly.
• Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare food following guidelines and ensure proper time/temperature, cleanliness, and portioning.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and ensure food safety standards are followed.
• Assist in supervising and training team members, including performance and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Operate point of sale and other store technology to process transactions and reports.
• Support management in loss prevention and inventory control, including cash handling and receipts.
• Collaborate with management to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
