American Social in Orlando is seeking a friendly, energetic server to join our team. You will confidently describe and upsell menu items, deliver beverages and foods, and maintain a warm, engaging guest experience.

You must be 18+, able to work late-night shifts, hold an Alcohol Awareness Certification, and speak fluent English. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Confidently describe and upsell all items on the food and beverage menus.
• Deliver beverages and food efficiently while engaging guests.
• Maintain properly presented tables and ensure readiness for new guests.
• Support both FOH and BOH priorities and work as part of a team.
• Follow manager directions and support marketing initiatives.
• Maintain high production standards including portioning, temperature, and plate presentation.

Job description

Job Functions:

• Delivers beverages and food efficiently and maintains engagement to ensure a positive experience

• High production standards including, consistency, firmness, and temperature of food
• Ensures food is cooked to standards and guests’ specifications
• Ensure proper plate presentation, portioning, and recipe adherence
• Cleans and prepares tables for new guests
• Supports restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized environment
• Practices teamwork during all shifts and supports both FOH and BOH priorities
• Works cohesively with all Team Members
• Flexible to assist in other departments as requested

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
• Able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
