Job summary

American Social in Miami is seeking a friendly, guest-focused team member to join our service staff. You will describe and sell all items on the food and beverage menus, deliver beverages and food, and keep guests engaged for a positive experience.

Requirements include a minimum age of 18 to serve liquor, the ability to work late-night shifts, Alcohol Awareness Certification (Serv Safe, TIPs, etc.), fluent English, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Safe, TIPs, etc) required
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Attention to detail, speed and accuracy

• Ensure proper plate presentation, portioning, and recipe adherence
• Cleans and prepares tables for new guests

• Works cohesively with all Team Members

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.

• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
• Able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
