Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is hiring an Operator I to safely run baking and decorating equipment, ensure product quality, and follow GMP/HACCP guidelines to protect food safety. You will support line efficiency and maintain clean, compliant production areas.

Your role involves reading formulas and BOMs, coordinating with leads for flow, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced dessert manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Able to work in a fast paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing, baking and decorating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain production supplies at prescribed levels to prevent line stoppages.
• Follow GMP policies and procedures.
• Read product formulas, temperatures, and times per BOM.
• Coordinate with Production Leads for product flow.
• Meet production standards within required time.
• Ensure clean and organized work areas and proper personal hygiene.
• Report all production waste to Lead or Supervisor.
• Uphold food safety and quality throughout production.
• Notify lead when stepping off the line to protect food safety and quality.
• Understand SQF, HACCP and GMP practices in daily tasks.
