Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce in Laurel, MD is seeking an Operations professional to perform routine and high-level maintenance duties and support repairs across our facility. This role ensures food safety and quality while maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repair using manuals and schematics, setup/breakdown of processing equipment, building maintenance, and safe operation per OSHA guidelines. Night shifts and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Experience with food processing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose problems and repair defective equipment using manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with maintenance of material handling equipment, including battery watering services.
• Set up and breakdown of food processing equipment as required.
• Carry out building maintenance tasks (plumbing, lighting, and related repairs).
• Ensure food safety and quality in all duties and communicate issues as needed.
• Work night shifts and occasional weekends as required.
• Report unsafe conditions and participate in safety programs.
