Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform routine and high-level maintenance duties across our Florida facility. You will assist with material handling equipment and general facility repairs, ensuring food safety and quality of products.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read schematics, and the flexibility to work night shifts and occasional weekends at times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of single and three phase electric, AC, DC high and low voltages.
• 2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance/preventative equipment maintenance.
• Experience with Food Processing Equipment is a plus.
• Experience with Vacuum Packaging equipment (RollStock, Repack) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery per manufacturer guidelines.
• Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions and communicate issues to operations staff.
• Diagnose problems and repair defective machines with parts per manuals and schematics.
• Set up and break down of Food Processing equipment as required.
• Maintain building systems including plumbing, lights, and ballast replacements.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
