Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to perform and manage routine and high-level maintenance duties across our facility. You will assist with material handling equipment and perform various repairs to ensure safety and continuity of operations.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and analytical skills, with the ability to read schematics and work on complex systems. Night shifts and occasional weekends are expected as part of operations support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of single and three phase electric, AC, DC high and low voltages.
• 8+ years of experience in facility maintenance/preventative maintenance.
• Experience with Food Processing Equipment is a plus.
• Experience with Vacuum Packaging equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical power and control systems, bearings, motors, belts and other parts.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and determine root cause.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assemble, install, replace, repair and modify equipment.
• Assist and guide Tech I and other team members on repairs.
• Able to work night shift and occasional weekends.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
