Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Food Packaging Product Manager who combines deep technical knowledge of flexible and rigid packaging with strong commercial instincts.

You will work directly with customers, sales teams, suppliers, and internal groups to identify opportunities and support trials and conversions. You will translate technical insights into practical packaging recommendations that improve performance, quality, cost, and supply-chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in primary food packaging; deep knowledge of flexible and rigid packaging.
• Strong understanding of substrates, materials, structures, applications, and performance characteristics.
• Ability to translate technical packaging knowledge into commercial opportunities and customer solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers on packaging specifications, trials, conversions, or new product applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth in food packaging by identifying opportunities and developing solutions.
• Serve as the technical packaging expert across customers, trials, and field deployments.
• Engage directly with customers to understand packaging challenges and business objectives.
• Enable sales by coaching teams and developing compelling proposals and samples.
