Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. seeks a Director of Food Packaging to translate market trends and customer requirements into go-to-market plays, sales enablement, and pipeline execution.

You will collaborate with marketing, operations, and supplier partners to strengthen the food packaging portfolio and deliver a consistent customer experience. You will lead cross-functional pursuit teams, develop commercial strategies, and manage pricing discipline to improve profitability while building strategic

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in food/beverage packaging or related packaging sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong ability to create and execute go-to-market and business development strategies with field sales teams.
• Experience with food safety/quality systems and translating requirements into packaging solutions.
• Experience coaching sales teams and negotiating programs, pricing, and service levels.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the go-to-market strategy for food packaging including target segments and growth priorities.
• Partner with sales reps to build territory/account plans and close opportunities.
• Lead business development and strategic account growth through discovery, solution design, and proposals.
• Maintain CRM, forecast accuracy, and pipeline discipline to drive revenue and margins.
• Develop proposals, pricing guidance, and service levels; support negotiations to close deals.
