Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking a Director of Food Packaging in the United States to lead the go-to-market strategy for food and beverage packaging, including materials, equipment, and services.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and suppliers to strengthen the portfolio, improve win rates, and deliver a consistent customer experience. You will drive pipeline and forecast accuracy, maintain deep product knowledge, and lead cross-functional pursuit teams to scope, price, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in food/beverage packaging.
• Experience creating go-to-market and business development strategies with field sales.
• Knowledge of food safety/quality systems and translating requirements into packaging solutions.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute go-to-market strategy for food packaging including segments and value propositions.
• Lead territory/account planning, opportunity identification, and close plans with sales teams.
• Drive new business development and strategic account growth through customer discovery and proposals.
• Manage pricing discipline, profitability, and program tracking with leadership.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams from scoping to win and handoff.
