Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for the Foodology team (Food Ingredients). The role emphasizes building value-based relationships, driving new business, and strengthening customer satisfaction across the assigned Northeast US territory.

You will manage pricing, quotes, and coordination with local branches while maintaining safety standards and leveraging your network of contacts in the chemical industry.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales in Food Ingredients (raw chemicals) or closely related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; technical science or chemistry preferred.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and cultivate a broad contact network.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts and improve position via consultative selling.
• Prospect for new business to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and satisfaction; provide technical support to increase value.
• Maintain an up-to-date view of the sales pipeline and quotations.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure inventory levels.
