Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; state certification beneficial.
• 1 year of administrative/general office experience required; FMLA administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal FMLA regulations; proficiency in MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establishes FMLA and other unpaid leave claims; tracks and codes documentation per internal processes.
• Analyzes FMLA and unpaid claims to determine eligibility and certification per client plans and regulations.
• Reviews claim information to determine action plans, benefits, and timely decisions.
• Communicates decisions and expectations with claimants and clients by phone, email, or claims system.
• Maintains professional client relationships and meets quality program requirements.
