Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a Lead, FMLA/Disability paperwork specialist to process forms accurately and provide top‑notch service in a remote, full‑time role. You will support management to ensure quality, compliance, and data integrity.

You will handle FMLA and disability forms, communicate with patients and physicians, and generate reports while training new staff in line with Sharecare's values of Servant Leadership, Family, Compassion, Accountability and Respect.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical records or similar setting
• Experience with FMLA and disability forms is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Typing speed of 50 wpm or higher
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes

Responsibilities

• Process FMLA/Short Term Disability paperwork per guidelines
• Communicate with patients and physician coordinators in a courteous, patient-centered manner
• Handle medical record requests with HIPAA/HITECH compliance
• Complete FMLA/Disability forms using standard responses
• Data-enter forms accurately and post-pay within turnaround times
• Maintain professional relationships with clients
• Provide onboarding and training for new employees
• Produce periodic reports as requested
• Care for patients and patient representatives
• Comply with HIPAA and labor laws
• Provide support for audit teams as needed
