Job summary

Placements24 partners with a leading FMCG company to recruit a Sales Executive for the Welkom territory in the Free State. The role focuses on growing the business by building strong relationships with independent retailers and smaller chains, ensuring excellent product visibility and availability.

You will implement sales strategies, visit customers, promote new products, and collaborate with marketing and logistics to deliver consistent service.

Qualifications

• Matriculation certificate required.
• 3+ years of successful FMCG sales experience.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet/exceed targets for Welkom and Free State regions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for satisfaction and retention.
• Regularly visit customers to promote products and participate in promotions and displays.
• Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate sales records and manage the sales pipeline.
