Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch. You will be the primary customer contact, recommending equipment solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders to meet customer needs.

You’ll focus on fluid solutions equipment rental and supply, building relationships and driving branch growth. Responsibilities include quoting, processing contracts, establishing accounts, educating customers on safe equipment use and coordinating with teammates to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
Keen attention to detail and safety.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered products, including pumps.
Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
Establish new rental and sales accounts via walk-in and call-in customers.
Educate customers about proper equipment use.
Coordinate with branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
Track daily equipment pickups and returns.
Run reports to monitor equipment and enable smooth operations.
Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
Perform other duties as needed.
