Job summary

The GIANT Company in Chalfont, PA is seeking a part-time Floral Department team member to receive, store, stock items, arrange flowers, assist customers, and wrap plants and flowers. You will help keep the department and cooler organized and ensure accurate loss tracking.

Key requirements include being authorized to work in the U.S., readable/writable communication, completing a 60-day probation, and safety and PPE adherence.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and follow policies
• Complete company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, and basic scores for the position
• Ability to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job
• Perform all job functions safely
• Meet company performance standards including regular attendance
• Wear proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job
• 1 year of work experience or technical training
• Must have keyboard skills
• Must maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare for duties, ensuring PPE compliance
• Use equipment to receive inventory and place items into the floral cooler
• Make flower arrangements, assist customers, wrap flowers and plants, inflate balloons as needed
• Keep the department and cooler clean
• Track and record loss
