Job summary

The GIANT Company in Hershey, PA is seeking a team member for the floral department. The primary duties include receiving, stocking, and storing items, making flower arrangements, helping customers, and wrapping plants and flowers.

You will review schedules, handle inventory with the floral team, and maintain a clean, organized cooler. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and comply with policies.
• Must complete the introductory period (60 days).
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare for duties.
• Use a U-boat to retrieve inventory from receiving and place inventory into the floral cooler.
• Make arrangements, help customers, wrap flowers and plants, and inflate balloons as required.
• Keep the department and cooler clean.
• Track and record loss.
