Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member to receive, store, and stock items, make flower arrangements, help customers, and wrap plants and flowers. You will assist with the floral department's daily tasks and ensure products are neatly displayed and readily available.

This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service, with regular shifts, physical requirements, and a commitment to helping neighbors in Pennsylvania communities.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and communicate to perform duties and follow policies
• Complete the 60-day introductory period
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements and base job scores
• Able to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job
• Able to perform all job functions safely
• Meet the company performance standards, including regular attendance
• Wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes
• Have 1 year of work experience or technical training
• Have keyboard skills

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare PPE and supplies.
• Use a U-boat to retrieve inventory from receiving and place into the floral cooler.
• Make flower arrangements, assist customers, wrap flowers and plants, and inflate balloons as required.
• Keep the department and cooler clean.
• Track and record loss.
