Job summary

The GIANT Company in Danville, PA is seeking a dedicated team member for our Floral department. The role involves receiving, stocking merchandise, making flower arrangements, helping customers, and wrapping flowers and plants to keep the display fresh and inviting.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, perform light lifting, and support the department to deliver excellent service to our neighbors. Prior experience is helpful, and you’ll receive training and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties.
• Must complete 60-day probation period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Able to use the equipment and tools for the job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet performance standards including attendance.
• Must wear assigned clothes and shoes.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and stock items, make flower arrangements, help customers, and wrap plants and flowers.
• Review work schedule and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Use a U-boat to get inventory from receiving and place into floral cooler.
• Keep the department and cooler clean.
• Track and record loss.
