Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Floral Department Supervisor at our West Chester store to enter orders, schedule work, supervise team members, receive and stock items, and maintain department standards.

You will help customers, prepare arrangements, ensure KPI goals are met, and keep the floral cooler organized. This role requires lifting up to 40 lb, standing long hours, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare the day\'s duties and supplies.
• Direct daily activities of the floral team to meet targets.
• Achieve KPI targets for the floral department.
• Receive inventory and place items into the floral cooler.
• Make flower arrangements, assist customers, wrap flowers, inflate balloons as needed.
• Keep the department and cooler clean and organized.
• Track and record loss.
