Job Objective

This is an entry-level job at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Floral Manager in providing quality products to customers in a clean, friendly environment.

Major Responsibilities

1. Provide outstanding customer service.
2. Greet and thank every customer.
3. Assist the Floral Manager with daily duties.
4. Comply with all company trim standards.
5. Assist in receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers.
6. Follow safety guidelines and report safety issues.
7. Rotate stock items appropriately.
8. Use markdown coupons for near-dated products.
9. Use merchandising areas to promote sales, especially for deal items.
10. Follow all company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag.

Physical and Basic Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert force frequently. Must have dexterous use of both hands, stand and move about various stations, and handle sharp instruments safely. This is medium work requiring good vision, hearing, and physical ability to work on potentially slippery floors.
