Job Objective

This is an entry-level job at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Floral Manager in providing good quality products to our customers in a clean, friendly environment.

Floral Assistant

Reports Directly To

Floral Department Manager

Major Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Greet and thank every customer you come into contact with
• Assist the Floral Manager in completing daily duties
• Comply with all company standards and policies
• Assist in receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers
• Follow all safety guidelines and report any safety issues
• Rotate stock items regularly
• Use markdown coupons to reduce close-dated products
• Properly utilize merchandising areas to promote sales

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand, move, lift, carry, push, and pull items. Ability to use knives and sharp instruments is required.

This is medium work requiring good vision, hearing, and physical ability to work on slippery floors.
