**Job Objective:**
This is an entry-level job at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Floral Manager in providing good quality products to our customers in a clean, friendly environment.

**Reports Directly To:**
Floral Department Manager.

**Major Responsibilities:**

1. Provide outstanding customer service.
2. Greet and thank every customer you come into contact with.
3. Assist the Floral Manager in completing all daily duties.
4. Comply with all company standards and policies.
5. Assist in receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers.
6. Follow all safety guidelines and ensure equipment safety mechanisms are functional.
7. Report any safety issues to the Floral Manager.
8. Rotate all items as they are stocked.
9. Use markdown coupons to reduce products nearing expiration.
10. Use merchandising areas properly to promote sales of ad items or items bought on deal.
11. Follow dress code and wear a name tag.

**Basic Functions and Physical Requirements:**
Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently. Must have dexterous use of both hands, stand and move about various work stations. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items, and using knives and other sharp instruments safely.

This is medium work requiring good vision, hearing, and physical ability to work on floors that may become slippery.
