Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Leader to be the right hand of the Merchandising Team Leader, ensuring the store showcases AE Brand Visual Standards, executing Floorsets, and staying guest ready through effective replenishment.

You’ll train and coach the Floorset team, drive productive Floorset execution, manage day-to-day merchandising, and spot opportunities to optimize sell-through while collaborating with leadership to keep the store fresh and inviting.

Responsibilities

• You support driving an outstanding guest experience in partnership with the Merchandising Team Leader by ensuring your store is always representative of AEO Brand Standards.
• Floorsets are your 'thing'! You drive Floorset execution by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store meet Floorset standards.
• You're a merchandising innovator: you keep the store in top shape with day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments and replenishment, spotting opportunities and acting with leadership.
• You've got a teamwork mindset: you help maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments and replenishment so the store always looks fresh.
• You're a people person: you focus on guest experience, celebrate wins, and foster a culture of recognition within the team.
• Integrity is your middle name: you ensure store safety standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom and follow shrink-reduction strategies and policies.
