Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters is seeking a Merchandise Leader to be the Merchandising Team Leader's right hand, ensuring the store reflects AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivers an outstanding guest experience through Floorset execution and replenishment.

You'll train and coach the Floorset team, drive productivity, maintain visual standards, and champion a culture of recognition while prioritizing safety and shrink reduction.

Qualifications

• Love AE and Aerie products.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills; prior retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Support driving guest experience in partnership with the Merchandising Team Leader by ensuring the store reflects AEO Brand Standards.
• Drive Floorset execution by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring effective execution of floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments and replenishment; identify opportunities and collaborate with leadership to take action.
• Maintain a teamwork mentality to ensure the team understands how to uphold AEO Brand Standards through merchandising and replenishment.
• Foster a guest-focused culture, celebrate wins with the team, and promote recognition.
• Ensure store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom, and adhere to shrink-reducing strategies and company policies.
