Job summary

WSH Management seeks an on-site Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, enforce policies, and support budgeting and reporting. Responsibilities include rent processing, accounts payable/receivable, and supervising staff to ensure premium property upkeep and occupancy goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years on-site supervision, a college degree or CAM/ARM credentials, and strong communication and budgeting skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA best practices is valued.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years on-site as Assistant Community Manager; 3 years supervisory experience considered.
• Affordable housing knowledge required.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and enforce policies.
• Prepare reports and assist in annual operating budget development.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable including rent processing.
• Supervise Maintenance Supervisor and monitor work orders.
• Handle move-in/move-out processing and resident records.
• Support residents through recertifications and address concerns promptly.
• Train new staff and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Monitor property appearance and minimize vacancies.
• Carry out duties to support departmental and company objectives.
