Management Performance Associates is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The float position covers Montgomery County, MD, with first-shift hours Mon–Fri 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, plus EOS 8am–12pm.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring specimen transport and compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Venipuncture technique and specimen collection experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and data entry.

Aufgaben

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Ensure test requisitions match labels with high accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain sample integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer calls and read results to satisfy inquiries.
